FROM SELF-BUILT TO SIGNIFICANT GROWTH
The founder of TANacious, Gloria Fuhrman-Lear, is building an incredible brand on the foundation of having a lifetime of experience in the beauty industry. Her journey lead her to develop her own sunless tanning mousse. She started out as most small businesses do, with a self-built website. As the demand for her product grew significantly, she needed a more streamlined ordering and shipping process. TANacious also needed an updated, more professional branded look and feel.
BEFORE AND AFTER: THE PROCESS
After a discovery call, I came on board to design and build a new website for Gloria. With clear navigation and empowering language, the new website communicates a clear message that is easy to understand.
Websites should be both beautiful and simple. They should be so easy to navigate that people don’t have to really think about how they are navigating. Clear messaging and simplicity on a website reduces a common problem known as decision fatigue. It should be easy for someone to find and purchase the specific product they need.
In order to create a comfortable yet professional atmosphere on the new site, I used both lifestyle imagery and social images from existing customers. I pulled testimonials for the products from public social media posts on both Facebook and Instagram to support the validity and effectiveness of TANacious’ amazing products.
I refreshed the branding with simplified colors and a refined logo.

TANacious now has a new online space where people can come in, fall in love with what Gloria’s doing, and become big fans of her amazing products!
